Little Blob In The Sky

As a whole the sky can be so overwhelming it’s hard to see a simple star. It can be so easy for a single star to get lost in the magnitude of the sky.  The sky is so large and daunting, how is one little star supposed to shine bright above all the others?

How many stars are in the sky? So many sparkle and shine it’s hard to say, but if you close one eye and look real close it all comes into focus. Suddenly there aren’t so many stars in the sky and that one tiny little sparkle begins to look a little brighter. The edges begin to come into focus and that little blob of light begins to look like the only thing in the sky.

Sometimes I feel like that little blob of light in the night’s sky. I get lost in the sea of sparkles. Sometimes I think that the other sparkles are better than me because they shine brighter and are easier to see. Sometimes I feel daunted by the bright shine around me. I wonder what it would be like if one person would close one eye and see me for the beauty that I hold.  Then I close one eye and focus and suddenly I begin to take shape. I begin to see that I shine just as bright as the other stars around me it just takes a little longer to see it.

Never discount the beauty that you hold. Never look past the shine that you hold because you are focused on all the other stars that are brightly shining as well.  You hold all the beauty that this world has to show.
